For Parents / Students (A-Level AI Chemistry Assistant)
Question: I am a parent. Is the A-Level AI Chemistry Assistant accurate?
Answer: Our AI is designed to provide highly accurate information and adheres to MOE best practices in teaching. It has been fine-tuned specifically for Singapore's A-Level Chemistry syllabuses, covering both H1 and H2 levels, making it particularly effective in supporting students. Additionally, we have consulted experienced A-Level Chemistry teachers to ensure pedagogical alignment, further enhancing the model’s ability to help students grasp key concepts.
The AI is integrated with external tools that enable it to draw molecules and create simple diagrams (e.g., Daniel cells, Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution curves, and orbital diagrams) according to examination standards. It also has the capability to search the web and YouTube for supplementary materials, including videos and additional resources, to enhance the learning experience.
However, as with any AI, occasional errors may occur. We recommend verifying the information and discussing it with teachers or peers when needed.

Current and former MOE teachers are asked to provide proof of their teaching experience. However, if you have further concerns, you are encouraged to ask the assigned tutor for clarification.
